Thousands of SAP users, customers and prospects gathered to learn more about
SAP and "Business at the Speed of Change"
The ASUG Annual Conference and SAP SAPPHIRE joint event in 2007
brought together hundreds of insightful business presentations,
educational programs, and partner exhibits which offered the
technological vision, insights, and information customers need
to drive profitability and growth and to provide more value than
ever before. The event was held in the World Congress Center in Atlanta from
April 22nd through April 25th.
There were over 15,000 attendees and more than 200 exhibitors showcased their service offerings,
making this the largest gathering of SAP professionals to date. OBT Global, the SAP division in Zensar
was well represented as Ramesh Kodali, the OBT Global CEO, led the team which represented Zensar on the show floor.
Mr. Vijay Sethi, the IT Director of Ranbaxy Labs presented a session titled ‘Ranbaxy - a 24X7
Global Help Desk Success Story’. Ranbaxy has outsourced their SAP help desk to OBT Global. OBT Global
supports Ranbaxy 7X24X365 out of the Hyderabad support and development center.
We used this opportunity to introduce three vertical solutions for the SMB segment in the US including Pharmaceuticals,
Textiles and Engineering.
This event helped us to build a formal partnership with SAP executives and also lays the platform for us to
expand our portfolio and deliver additional value added services to our existing and new customers.
Sapphire 2007 was a big success from our perspective and we intend to continue participating and
expand our presence in the future.
