GKB Hi-tech Lenses manufactures ophthalmic lenses has 14 Laboratories, 6 CNC plants and 4 AR Coating plants with modern and latest machinery. GKB is the biggest lens manufacturer in the country and meeting the requirements of 4000 direct customers in the country. GKB also exports lenses to more than 30 countries. GKB has its corporate office and factory at Tivim Industrial Estate, Goa. Apart from its Goa plant, it also has manufacturing facilities at another 10 locations spread across the country. GKB Hi-Tech Lenses has decided to go for SAP implementation at all the units in the country and for export operations. It has selected Oak Brook Technologies (OBT) as their implementation partner for SAP R/3 implementation. OBT Global is implementing Finance, Controlling, Material Management, Production Planning, Quality Management and Sales & Distribution modules in all the units. |
