J K Agri-genetics comes, as yet another feather in the cap for OBT, as the first of its kind implementation which tracks the actual cultivation of Hybrid Seeds to the distribution and Growth monitoring of the crops using the hybrid seeds.

Apart from implementing, FI, CO, MM, SD, PP and QM, OBT has developed a specific custom built module to transfer data asynchronously to update the dispatch related information to the C & F agents located countrywide as well as receiving Direct sales information from the agents back to the HO through a dial–up connectivity.

Another unique feature of the implementation is the special features required for the agricultural Production Centers. In these production centers seed are sown and grown and later sent to Production Process centers located at Hyderabad, India.

OBT Global developed a special interface to transfer data from these production centers to SAP, which helps them to know the progress and health of crop. A further enhancement was to capture the progress and growth pattern of the crops under different geographical and climactic conditions, through Internet kiosks and advising the farmers to take preventive and predictive measures to ensure high crop yields, benefiting the farmers.
