Mylan Pharma, West Virginia

OBT is proud to announce addition of another new SAP customer to the existing customers - Mylan Laboratories Inc. in the month of February, 2007. Mylan is based at Morgantown in West Virginia, USA, and is headquartered at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mylan is $2 Billion, company and is in the business of manufacturing generic drugs and epidermal patches. Mylan is growing very rapidly and was in the news recently for acquiring Matrix Laboratories, a Hyderabad India based company.

The Project was kicked off at Morgantown to establish the call handling and support processes for two phases, viz. Go-Live starting May, 2007 and Steady State starting July, 2007 with the Mylan IT team. This phase was successfully completed on the 31st of March. The presentations on support processes and the call handling procedures document as well as our estimates on the potential call volumes was very well received by Mylan.

Another team of consultants reported onsite in the last week of March for the Knowledge Transition, which was completed 15th of April, and the offshore team was established to support Mylan in its Go-Live preparations.

Mylan has made Zensar its IT support partner for SAP and other initiatives and looks at a long term relationship to help it achieve its IT goals in the future.
